UPDATE - As of the 18th of March we have been notified that the Force Majeure Event has been lifted, which means we should receive our preorder shipment in the few days following. Orders will resume Shipping from the 20th of March and we will work through them as quickly as possible - we anticipate having all outstanding orders shipped by March 24th. As of March 5th Australia Post officially declared a Force Majeure Event with the imminent threat of Cyclone Alfred. What is a Force Majeure Event? A Force Majeure Event is an extraordinary event or circumstance beyond our control (such as extreme weather, flood or fire) that restricts our ability to deliver for our customers.
Cyclone Alfred and what it means for your order. This event affects both our incoming stock including preorder items, and our outgoing orders.
Australia Post have only advised that services will resume when it is safe to do so. They have also suggested we let our customer know that this closure is going to cause a backlog, and therefore further possible delays.
At this time we aren't able to confirm how long the delay will be, we are hopeful that delays won’t exceed 1-2 weeks, and ask that you take this into consideration when placing your order.
Should we have any updates on timeframes they will be added here so please check back at any time.
We will continue to pack orders ready for when postal and freight services resume.
